Noosa National Park

Noosa’s National Park is located only a short stroll from Noosa town centre. The National Park’s coastline is filled with sheltered beaches and coves. You can picnic, or bushwalk through the park and explore the lush rainforest and perhaps spot a Koala hidden in the trees.

Australia Zoo

Australia Zoo is home of the Crocodile Hunter and houses more than 650 animals native to Australia. The Zoo has been open for 40 years and has the best animal shows in Queensland. Pat a Koala, hand feed an Elephant or watch the infamous crocodile shows followed by a lunch in the food court that has 6 different specialized Outlets including burger bar, ice cream parlour and salad bar. A fun day out for all the family to enjoy.

Eumundi Markets

The infamous Eumundi Markets take place on Saturday and Wednesday mornings. Eumundi market prides itself on its unique stalls where you’ll find hand made artwork, furniture, cosmetics, jewellery and fashion, all by local designers. Take a break from shopping and enjoy a massage or have your palm read while listening to world music sounds.

Enjoy tasting the many different varities of food which include Mexican, Chinese, Italian, fresh seafood and Sushi. You can also purchase breads, cheeses, fruit, vegetables, salts and pastries. Regular buses operate from Noosa to Eumundi.

Noosa River

The Noosa River enters the Pacific Ocean at Noosa. You can rent a boat for an afternoon or hop aboard a Sunset River Cruise and watch the sun go down. Take advantage of the weather and enjoy outdoor activities including jet skiing, fishing or kayaking or take a walk along Gympie Terrace and savour fine food dining in one of the wonderful restaurants or a spot of shopping in one of the unique boutiques. Spend a sunny morning on the golf course at Noosa Springs Country Club.

Hastings Street

Hastings Street is the heart of Noosa and is positioned only meters away from Noosa’s North Facing Main Beach. Main Beach is popular with surfers and holiday makers and is well known for its crystal clear water and white sands. Dining out on Hastings Street is an experience in itself with cuisine ranging from Modern Australian to Italian & Indian plus beautiful ocean views from its waterfront restaurants. Hastings Street is also filled with boutiques, jewellers, art galleries & cafes. The Noosa Council has banned high rise apartments and any further development which will keep the street a world class destination.

Fraser Island

Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world and only a day trip away from Noosa. The Island is surrounded by long stretches of white sandy beach flanked by colored sand cliffs and over 100 turquoise freshwater lakes. Hire a 4 wheel drive and explore the tropical rainforest with stunning flora such as Lemon Scented Tea Trees & Wide Bay Boronia or spend an afternoon lounging beside Lake McKenzie’s crystal clear waters. Go back to nature and camp under the stars in many of the designated camp sites with BBQ’s and rest rooms or stay in one of the island resorts.
